This urn is constructed from salvaged claro walnut (from the firewood pile, in fact) with extensive chemical patination on silver leaf in the inclusions, with a piece of dichroic glass inserted. The removable container for the ashes is completely copper leafed, with an ebony base and a pau ferro top, and is held to the walnut front with rare earth magnets.
