After a prior failed ballot measure, two years later the Sonoma County Parks Department decided to do a full educational campaign to support the Parks prior to trying a new ballot measure. This was the second of two pieces, deliberately designed with the same branding used by the Parks Department in their other materials. One of the challenges was choosing photographs (from an enormous selection of photos provided by the Parks Department) that hadn’t already been overused, were representative of both the broad range of Sonoma County’s parks and reflected the most popular uses of those parks. Both pieces had return cards, which successfully solicited input from the community at large about their Parks.
