I used a California poppy I’d drawn years earlier as art an early placeholder in Chris Rogers’ logo during his campaign for California Assembly. As the campaign progressed, I refined the poppy illustration, and ultimately drew 7 poppies for his use, including multiple leaf variations. Drawn digitally using stock and personal photos as a reference. Copyright 2024
