On December 8, 2007 the first Una Notte “Il pirata della strade” show took place. The show opened at 4 p.m., and closed at 8 p.m. (the final guests were kicked out by 9 p.m.). Nine Sonoma County artists participated, the youngest 17 and the oldest....well, a lot older than that. For certain reasons, the show was invitation only, and over 300 people visited the gallery during the four hours, ate, drank wine, purchased art and enjoyed themselves.

The show took place in a vacant warehouse (previously a car repair shop, later to be live-work artist’s studios), which had to be completely cleaned and painted, and temporary lighting had to be installed.

Nine artists participated in the show: Marissa Barbero, William Broaders, Hoyt Dingwall, Dave Flinn, Thomas Giansante, Cory Mast, Dan Morse, Jonathan Taylor and Sonia Taylor. Email for contact information for any of the artists.

In the process of doing the show, we contacted our friends and local businesses, and they generously donated, or gave us services/products at severely reduced prices. Many thanks to all of them!
